This policy explains what Decision Built collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, the contractor app, and the homeowner experience.
Information we collect
- Account information you provide, such as your name, email address, business name, and password.
- Project content you upload or create, including photos of homes, renders, measurements, and proposals.
- Payment information when you subscribe or buy credits. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card number.
- Usage data such as device, browser, and how you interact with the product, used to keep it working and improve it.
How we use your information
- To provide the service: generate renders, count items and build takeoffs, and create proposals.
- To connect homeowners with the contractors they choose to share a design with.
- To process payments, prevent abuse, and provide support.
- To improve and secure the product.
Photos and AI rendering
To create a render, the photo you provide is processed by our image rendering provider on our behalf so we can return your visualization. We use this content to deliver the service to you. We do not sell your photos.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the service:
- With a contractor when you, as a homeowner, choose to connect or share your design.
- With service providers who host our infrastructure, process payments, and power rendering, under agreements that limit their use of the data.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the public.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your account and associated content.
Your choices
You can access or update your account information in the app, and you can request a copy or deletion of your data by emailing us. To unsubscribe from non-essential email, use the link in the message.
Children
Decision Built is intended for adults running or commissioning home improvement work and is not directed to children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
